Gear 3. Exploration and 3D mapping robot

UGV's or Unmanned Ground Vehicles, are radio-controlled vehicles mainly designed for inspection tasks and in some cases 3D mapping of the environment. My designs are robust and suitable for mining environments, equipped with tons of sensors, and high maneuverability features, they are safe and easy to operate

They can be used for exploration and recognition of dangerous or difficult-to-access places, such as pipes, buildings in ruins, caves or contaminated areas. With my robots I can explore a wide variety of environments.

The data they can collect depends on the sensor equipment: temperature and humidity, air quality, thermal imaging, audio stereo, gas detection, laser distance meter, radioactivity levels, static cloud points, among many others.

Gear 3. I developed the framework in Japan back in 2012. The robot is equipped with depth cameras and other sensors, it can move by itself in indoor environments following paths or persons.

Micro Gear. The smallest one. It can explore pretty narrow pipes equipped with a micro camera.
